I knew so well that he didn\'t care about me. I couldn’t hate him or forget him. The only thing I could recall whenever think about him is the purple flowers in our campus, the rain, the umbrella, and his smile, rare but very beautiful. We met each day, had so many things in the same time, same places, not together. In those high school years, I kept thinking how different people are. Why I could never be closer to him, be friendly to him, or calmly talk with him? Why I was so much attracted by him? The feeling of knowing each other but being separated by no one else but ourselves was painful.
I always think a boy like him should go to France and pursue his dream. But at last it turned out to be me who left our country. The day before I left, I dressed up and went to a classmates dinner because I knew that he would be there. He sat there, very lay back. His figure was blocked by several people. I looked in his direction, smiled and sighed in heart.
Farewell. I murmured.
The restaurant was playing Don’t Cry for Me Argentina.
My eyes were dry. In those days I listened to Leaving on a Jet Plane like mad. When it sings: “Kiss me and smile for me. Tell me that you will wait for me. Hold me like you will never let me go.” I would smile, very deeply.
That day when I left, I saw my mother standing in front of the crowd with tears in her beautiful eyes. I waved to her and turned away.

I can’t tell you how much I love my college life and how sweet it is to be independent.
One phrase that I learnt, and that now I send to you: When somebody wants to walk away from you, let him walk. Your destiny is never tied up with anyone who leaves you.
